Scholarship Ministry

Scholarship Ministries purpose is to encourage our youth congregation to enroll at Institutions of higher learning and to support them through those years. This program raises funds through designated giving. The ministry also provides encouragement to SBC college students through the outreach of the College Care Package Program and the awarding of scholarships through the College Scholarship Fund. Since both of these programs are self-supported the committee coordinates fundraising through creating an awareness of these ministries within the Second Baptist Church congregation.
